At the Centre for Interfaith and Multicultural Studies (CIMS), research is a vital component of our mission to promote understanding and inclusivity across diverse communities. Through collaborative research initiatives, we aim to generate knowledge that fosters deeper insights into interreligious and multicultural dynamics in Indonesia. Our research efforts are designed to bridge academic inquiry with real-world applications, contributing to the development of more inclusive societies.
COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH
Each year, we are committed to conducting two collaborative research projects that bring together scholars, activists, and policymakers from various fields. These research projects focus on examining the complexities of interfaith and multicultural relationships, with the aim of identifying strategies to enhance coexistence and social harmony. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, we seek to produce research that not only informs academic discourse but also serves as a resource for community leaders, educators, and policymakers.
Academic Publications As part of our commitment to disseminating knowledge, CIMS aims to publish at least two scholarly articles annually. These publications will highlight key findings from our research and contribute to the broader academic conversation on religiosity, diversity, and inclusivity. Through our published work, we seek to influence policy, education, and community development, ensuring that our research has a tangible impact on the promotion of interfaith and multicultural understanding.
